I am using GLPK with the AMPL book and the examples found in the GMPL.pdf and the GLPK examples directory.

The GLPK has a wonderful jssp.mod that does a job-shop with 6 jobs and 6 machines.

I wanted to do variations on this problem with more than 6 machines in 6 groups, i.e., more than one machine of the same type in each group.

I tried modifying syntax from the various example programs, but I ran into many, many crashes.

Are there any example programs with parallel machine scheduling problems?

Thanks.
