HI I have a cplex code with c . This is the main function:

int main()

{

………….. // variable declaration…

readData(D); // read data from a file

nb = lp (D);// solve model with instances from D with cplex routines and return the result to our main function

}

which time shall i use the cpu time?

  • with the function clock() because i read the data in the main function ?

  • with the routine of cplex?

As I understand, your CPLEX routine is responsible for both building the model and solving it (i.e., the readData routine just reads data into predefined data structure but doesn't create a model understandable by CPLEX). In that case, you should just use the CPU time of the CPLEX routine.

PS. Please don't repeat your already asked question. If you don't get a timely answer, it's probably because your question is not clear enough. You should try clarifying your previously-asked question, not adding a new one.
